Missing star figures like forward Jean-Philippe Mateta and wing-back Daniel Muñoz, the London club departed Dublin with a comfortable win that all but guarantees them a spot in the Europa Conference League qualifying rounds.
A further victory in their next fixture against Finnish KuPS should be enough to secure direct entry to the knockout stages, particularly following a prior stumble against Strasbourg.
Fringe Players Grasp the Moment
This match provided a chance for some of Palace's fringe players to impress. Christantus Uche, in only his second start since joining on loan from Getafe, opened the scoring with a clinical finish. Forward Eddie Nketiah contributed a another, finding the net for the second consecutive succession.

Esse was incredibly unlucky later on, seeing one attempt crash off both posts before being clasped on the line. Uche then blazed a glaring chance, showing there is still scope for development in his game.
